Yesterday (Sunday 7/10/06) Rebecca did a 3 1/2 hour presentation for Girl
Scouts ages 13-17. She had about 40 girls and about 25 adults in
attendance.
She did sessions on coral reefs/artificial reefs, gps systems, and water
testing.
It was a fun session and the girls seemed to really learn something. There
will be (minimum) 2 more sessions for girl scouts and then several sessions
for middle schools in the area.
The attached file is a press release from our local Girl Scout council.
Last Thursday, Rebecca was interviewed live on the radio about the project -
we have a recording of that if you'd like a copy.
The Sun Sentinel came Sunday and did an article about the program. here's
the link but the copy is attached below. I do have some physical copies of
the paper if you need.

National Girl Scouts - GSUSA - will be putting information out about the
project on their website soon. I'll send you that information when I get
it.
There was also another article in the Miami Herald a couple of weeks ago. I
will have to find the copy of that to send to you.
