The Group's first ocean test reef consisted of three Reef Balls (tm) deployed south of Peanut Island in the Intracoastal waterway in August of 1993. (Loran C 31060.0 62040.1 or Lat/Long 26'-45'.005 80'-02'.575) Three newer designs were added in August of 1994 and dedicated as a memorial reef. Three additional smaller sizes were added in August of 1995. The project is associated with the Department of Natural Resources and the Palm Beach County Reef Research Dive Team.
